Ingredients
- 24 mini puris (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup plain yogurt (curd)
- 1/4 cup tamarind chutney
- 1/4 cup mint chutney
- 1/2 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup boiled chickpeas
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Sev (crunchy noodles) for topping
Instructions
- Arrange the mini puris on a serving plate.
- Carefully make a small hole in the center of each puri using your thumb or a puri pressing tool, creating a hollow space to hold the fillings.
- In a bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth. Add a pinch of salt and mix well.
- Fill each puri with a small spoonful of mashed potatoes and boiled chickpeas.
- Drizzle some tamarind chutney and mint chutney over the fillings in each puri.
- Sprinkle chopped onions and coriander leaves on top of the puris.
- Sprinkle roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, and red chili powder (if desired) over the puris.
- Generously top each puri with sev (crunchy noodles).
- Serve immediately and enjoy the burst of flavors as you bite into the crispy puris filled with cool yogurt, tangy chutneys, and spicy toppings.
